Mother Nature and Father Time

Mother Nature

Father Time

We have Mother Nature and Father Time
One waves a wand and one you need to wind
It takes two to make all their children happy
So, let’s listen to their children’s rhyme.

Listen to the train clock’s whistle blow
Listen to how it sounds
Listen to the grandfather clock BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Shaking everything all around.

The smaller clocks go tickity-tock
Their chimes sound like little quirks
The clown clock whistles his little tune
The birds sing chirp-chirp-chirp.

Mother nature waves her wand
Making the wind blow strong
Bending the trees to make the leaves shake
Keeping the rhythm with the beat all along.

The little trees do their song and dance
The grass bows and sways
The wind whips up its own tune
As the children sing and play.

The wonderful sound that they make
Brings a smile to your face
As they shake, rattle, and roll along
It makes your heart beat race.

We have Mother Nature and Father Time
One waves a wand and one you need to wind
It takes two to make all their children happy
So, let’s listen to their children’s rhyme.
